In summary, the pilling-free fabrics include cotton, linen, and silk. If you can't accept the pilling phenomenon, it is recommended to choose such fabrics when buying bedding. Easy-pilling fabrics include wool, nylon, polyester, etc., but each has its own advantages.

Cause two: use

In the process of daily use, frequent static electricity and friction can also cause pilling.

Friction: The friction between the fabric and different fabrics will lead to different degrees of pilling.

Static electricity: Static electricity is ubiquitous in daily life. For example, when you undress at night, you will hear a crackling sound accompanied by blue light; when you get up in the morning and comb your hair, your hair will float.

Cause three: Improper washing

Improper choice of washing time, temperature, and detergent can also cause pilling.

Washing time is too long: If the washing time is too long, the fiber will be damaged due to mechanical force, and the fiber will break and more fiber heads will appear, thereby increasing the possibility of pilling.

Washing temperature: Improper washing temperature can also cause pilling of the fabric. Washing temperature is best controlled between 20-45 degrees.

Detergent: Use neutral detergent or soap powder.
